Spanish flutist Victoria Calvo Ordoñes took her bachelor’s degree at the Conservatory of Aragón (Zaragoza, Spain) graduating with honors both in flute and chamber music. Thereafter she moved to Germany to obtain her soloist master’s degree under the tutelage of János Bálint at the Hochschule für Musik in Detmold.

Victoria has gained experience in various orchestras in Spain (Camerata Aragón, Orquesta Ciudad de Granada Academy, Orquesta de Cadaqués, Orquestra del Reino de Aragón, Orquesta de Castilla y León) and Germany (Bergische Symphoniker, Philharmonisches Orchester Hagen, Symphonische Orchester des Landestheaters Detmold, Neue Philharmonie Westfalen). A keen chamber music performer, she took part in a tour comprising the players of Camerata Aragón and soloists from the Berliner Philharmoniker at the Berlin’s Philharmonie hall, appeared with the Ensemble Cruciaal at Peter de Grote Festival in Groningen (The Netherlands), at the “Ensemble Academia para la Nueva Musica” as well as in the Season Concerts from CAI in Zaragoza. In 2017, she was invited to hold masterclasses at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música Manuel Quiroga in Pontevedra, Spain.

Victoria is currently working as principal flute of the Philharmonie Südwestfalen in Germany.
